A symbolic poster

The Gaditan artist Pablo Fernández-Pujol designed the official carnival poster, which depicts a seascape with a headlight turning into a movie projector. This image symbolizes the fusion between local identity and the cinematographic universe, making Tarifa the perfect decor for an unforgettable carnival.

A carnival full of colors and music

Under the direction of Mercedes Triviño, the Holiday service has set up a technical commission to organize this emblematic event.

One of the highlights of this edition will be the opening speech of the carnival, delivered by Juan Carlos Reyes Quijano, a recognized artist from the world of Chirigotas and Comparsas.

Another essential tradition: the figures of God Momo And of the Carnival goddess, which symbolize the festive spirit of Tarifa. This year, these roles will be played by Rafael Peinado Rodríguez and Esther Jiménez Notario.
